About ConneXions and the ConneXions Green Team
Located in the former William H. Lemmel building on the west side of Baltimore City, ConneXions School for the Arts is a middle and high school serving the Baltimore City community. From its humble beginnings as a small charter school serving only a single 6th grade class, ConneXions has grown to serve a student body of over 450 students and saw its first graduating class in 2010.

Seven years ago ConneXions staff created a green team and began greening at the school. Students and staff created a garden, a garden club, a bike club, a stream clean-up team, a recycling team, and also planted 100 native trees on the hillsides surrounding the school. Students participated in field trips to the Clyburn arboretum and participated in bike rides on the streets and parks surrounding the school.
