I started off the year using and documenting the Urban Garden Grant. We purchased apple trees from a local nursery for the garden (2 different types), which Mr. Mike used as part of a classroom lesson:

In January, I applied for the MAEF (Maryland Agricultural Educational Foundation) grant to help fund our Earth Day garden project.
Our first attempt at getting a bike mechanic was not successful, so I posted a message on the Baltimore Bikemore Public Forum:
I received a response from our new volunteer, who came and checked out the school and the bike garage:
I had to contact North Avenue (the Office of Community Engagement) to set up his background check:
I have been attending the bike club sessions and overseeing our new mechanic:
